Products

Where can I find how much an item weighs, its dimensions, and other pertinent information?

Please check out our cut sheets! If you go to the item’s listing on our website, scroll down to the Description section to find a link to download the cut sheet of that item. This will display item weight, pallet count, dimensions, pictures, and more.

Who can purchase steps and risers from you?

We only sell these items in wholesale quantity to supply yards. If you are a supply yard and wish to carry our products, please contact us for more information!

I am a contractor or retail customer… can I buy steps and risers from you?

Unfortunately, no, you cannot purchase these items direct from us; however, you can check out the “Find A Supply Yard” link at the top of this page, and type in your zip code, and supply yards will populate the map around your area. You can contact any one of these yards and they will be able to help you.

Please bear in mind that all other products (coping, chimney caps, bumpers, splash blocks, etc.) are available for purchase for ALL customers. It's just the steps and risers that we limit to supply yard purchase only.

I don’t see what I’m looking for on your site. Do you do custom work?

Yes! Please contact us to let us know exactly what you’re looking for so we can either help guide you in the right direction or create what you need. Check out our Custom Order page link at the top for more of what we can do!

Can I use salt or deicer on your products?

NO! The use of salt or deicer IMMEDIATELY voids our warranty.

Salt/deicer melts the ice or snow on the precast concrete and the melted ice/snow saturates the concrete piece. The freeze/thaw of the weather causes the water inside the concrete product to expand and contract, resulting in chipping or pitting at the surface.

We know that sometimes the use of salt and deicers are unavoidable, and while the use of these products still voids our warranty, the best thing you can do to prolong the life of our products, if you need to use these items, is seal your precast concrete items properly with a silicone-based sealer.

What sealer do you recommend for your products?

While any high-quality sillicone-based sealer will do, one of our favorites is Prosoco Saltguard WB. This can be purchased online.

Services

I’d like to place an order or get a quote on a bumper job. How do I do this?

Well, let’s start with the basics: your name, your phone number, your email, business name (or who to make the quote out to), jobsite address, scope of work, and the type of surface in the lot (asphalt, concrete, gravel, etc.). Feel free to contact us by phone (313) 532-4610, email at sales@nucastprecast.com, OR, use the form on the Parking Bumper Services page with this information, and we’ll let you know if there’s anything else we need from you in order to quote or put job on order.

Do you do bumper jobs all year long?

Yes! We work our normal schedule throughout the year, WEATHER-PERMITTING. Extreme weather may be classified as heavy rain, icy road conditions, or heavy snow. Basically, if our employees would be in danger, OR, if the weather conditions will affect running our equipment, we’ll have to reschedule your job.

Warranty/Returns

Do you have a warranty on your products?

We have the following warranty on our products. This is printed on all order and quote copies. It is as follows:

NuCast warrants to the original owner that NuCast products will remain free from defects in materials and workmanship for 1 year from the date of original purchase, provided the defects do not arise from other than normal and ordinary use of the product. Damage to the product from mishandling and/or application of de-icing agents is not covered by this warranty. A high-quality properly-applied silicone sealant may extend the life of NuCast products. NUCAST MAKES NO CLAIMS AS TO THE MERCHANTABILITY OF ITS PRODUCTS FOR ANY PARTICULAR USE AND IS NOT TO BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY MISHAP ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF ITS PRODUCT FOR ANY REASON, INCLUDING ANY CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. This warranty covers only the repair or replacement of NuCast products due to defects in materials and workmanship. NO OTHER WARRANTY OF REPRESENTATION, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, IS MADE EXCEPT AS PROVIDED HEREIN.

In other words, we provide a 1-year warranty on all products AND the use of salt/deicer voids that warranty.

What is your return policy?

Our returns policy can be viewed on all order and quote documents. It is as follows:

Not responsible for goods after delivery. All non-warranty claims must be made within 5 days of receipt & are subject to a 20% restocking fee on all returnable materials. All claims must include proof of purchase from end customer to be considered. We assume no responsibilities for damage to curbs, sidewalks, driveways, shrubs, or other property.
